Patient Billing Preferences
The Patient Billing preferences tab is where you will look to specify defaults for  the content both patient bills and patient statements. For instructions regarding creating patient bills and statements, click here.


Refer to the following screenshot and table as a guide for determining how each preference field affects your patient bills and statements.

  •  Bills - Title - Specify a customized title to print at the top of your patient's bills.
    • Show Units Label - Toggle on/off the option to include a column indicating the number of units linked to each line time (charge/service)
    • Days/Units - Customize your own days/units label to print to the patient bill.
    • Include Patient's Provider on Form - Toggle on/off the option to print the patient's primary provider onto the patient statement.
    • Include Practice Tax ID - Toggle on/off the option to print your practice employer identification number to the top of the patient bill.

  • Statements - Title - Specify a customized title to print at the top of your patient's bills.
    • Include Patient's Provider on Form - Toggle on/off the option to print the patient's primary provider onto the patient statement.
    • Include Practice Tax ID - Toggle on/off the option to include your practice employer identification number to the top of the patient bill.
    • Exclude 30/60/90 Aging - Toggle on/off the option to "age" different portions of the total balance by categorizing them by the number of days each piece of the balance has been owed.
